TOUR 3

Luberon and it’s colors

Fontaine de Vaucluse, Gordes, Abbaye de Sénanque (photo stop), Roussillon

80€ /pers.

Monday to Sunday

9.00 am - 2.00 pm

Open your senses to the changing colors of Provence. Discover the beauty of an area of Provence which has preserved its natural appeal just as much as its history. We start with the famous spring of Fontaine de Vaucluse with its pure water and leafy surroundings. The Luberon Regional Natural Park established in the 1970s, is characterised by a series of strikingly picturesque hilltop limestone villages such as Gordes, while the village of Roussillon is renowned for its magnificent red cliffs and former ochre quarry. The landscape as described in Peter Mayle’s books is particularly colourful with vineyards, olive groves, Cyprus trees as well as poppy, sunflower and lavender fields. It’s the perfect tour for photo lovers.

See poppy, sunflower and lavender fields during the blossom season.

Stop at the market:

Gordes - Tuesdays morning

Roussillon - Thursdays morning

Best possible way to see France without renting a car

First time visit to Provence for 3 retired family members/ friends. Our guide Anne was the perfect blend of information, humor, history and fun on both of our 1/2 day tours. Not having to struggle with finding our way around, and having an experienced local resident share her vast knowledge of the region was just perfect. Loved the gorgeous countryside around Vaucluse. Highly recommend the Time4 Provence professionals!
